It’s been just about 15 years since I bought a new album that blew me away. It’s been more than a decade since I bought an album, and stopped listening to all other music just so I could just listen to it over an over. It’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed the lyrics of songs so much that I’ve had to google them so I could read them all at once. Mumford & Sons album, Sigh No More, changes all of that.
Before today, I’m not sure I’d ever heard of them before. I’m so glad that all changed. Thanks to a the current, a public radio station dedicated to playing modern rock in Minneapolis, and the wonders of my iPhone app Shazam, I’m now the proud owner of their music. If you have never heard of them, here’s a link to a great song, and here are the lyrics from the chorus. Enjoy.
Love that will not betray you, dismay or enslave you, It will set you free Be more like the man you were made to be. There is a design, An alignment to cry, Of my heart to see, The beauty of love as it was made to be
